Norfolk Bands Olympic Anthem hits the high notes!

A unique five piece band from Norfolk is making a splash with their new single, a special Olympics 2012 Anthem - ‘London's Calling'. The Colour are hoping to be making their mark on the games by performing it live at the Olympic torch's overnight party in Chapelfield Gardens on July 4th.

The guys who all hail from around Norfolk, have put together their patriotic track in celebration of London's hosting of the games, and to drum up enthusiasm and support for the world event.

After visiting the Tate Gallery in London Scott Field, the drummer in the band introduced his own colourful and unique brand of "drummatic art", by playing with paint filled sticks, which splatter colour on to a blank canvas throughout his performance. James Poole, the bands lead vocalist described London's Calling as a kind of party vibe anthem.

Describing the event as one of the biggest participant events in the world and thought that London was extremely fortunate to be hosting it this year. London's Calling was written with the idea of getting everyone involved and enthusiastic.
