Wroxham Windmill


You might imagine a tranquil summers evening in a quiet, riverside location, drinking some of the local ales such as Nelson's Revenge or Woodforde's Wherry, whilst reflecting on the abundance of the local wildlife as you watch the boats go by. Sounds good and is typical of the venues in the area, many of which offer locally brewed ales. In fact the tradition of fine cask conditioned ales and micro brewery specials local to a particular pub are growing and can be found in many pubs.

Wroxham is blessed with plenty of places to eat and drink mixing country cooking with fine foods. Given the rural nature of Norfolk allied with a North Sea coastline, it is no surprise to find top quality seafood and really fresh, local produce...
