Seafood is the specialty of Cromer and as you might expect, crabs feature strongly on local menus. There are plenty of quality places to eat and drink, many positioned to take full advantage of the spectacular open panoramas of the coast. There are dozens of places to eat and prices tend to be quite realistic because of this.

A number of pubs serve real ales for which Norfolk has a good reputation and another new micro brewery, Poppyland, is a recent start up project in Cromer. Wherever possible these use the very best of locally produced ingredients to make some really unique, hand crafted beers.
