The story of Norfolk's rich history can be discovered in the many different museums across the county which showcase industry and life through the ages.

There are two great museums in Norwich which should not be missed including the one located at Norwich Castle which is packed with exhibits of natural history, art and archaeology. The museum of English domestic life which is located at nearby Strangers Hall allows visitors to see a re-construction of a series of different houses from the Tudor times right through to the Victorian era.

The Norfolk Broads are a key part of the regions rich history and are must see for all visitors to the county. The Museum of Broads is a great place to start as it highlights life in the region, and the Wymondham Heritage Museum is a traditional museum which brings together daily life and heroes.

Kings Lynn also boasts several excellent museums including True's Yard Fishing Heritage Museum, Museum of Lynn Life and the Gaol House.
