There are dozens of places to play golf in Norfolk both on the coast and inland, so a golfing holiday is easily planned for the area. Top flight courses include Hunstanton, Sheringham, Woodhall Spa and one of the top 100 courses in the country, Royal West Norfolk at Brancaster. Founded in 1892 and described as ‘old school', this costal course squashed between sea and saltmarsh, is dominated by the tides and can be a real challenge; the weather can throw almost anything at you, anytime.

Hunstanton is a championship links course and a serious test with fast, hard greens that are difficult to read. It regularly gets excellent reviews and is another top 100 rated course in the country.

Set in the beautiful Norfolk countryside and easily accessible from the A47 is the 18 hole Middleton Hall Golf Club, complete with a floodlit golf driving range and a welcoming clubhouse with a bar, restaurant and sun terrace.
